Our Actions to Ensure Your Safety During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Sanitization at Our Surgical Center
The Zukowski Surgical Center has and will continue to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sterility and sanitation throughout our entire facility in order to make certain you are safe when you entrust us with your surgical case. We are monitoring the daily reports on the current pandemic and are following the strictest protocols to ensure an unquestionably sterile environment. We have always adhered to the highest sanitation standards outlined by the CDC for the last 23 years and will continue to do so during this pandemic. For all procedures that require intubation and extubation, a N95 mask is used by anesthesia per national protocol.
Testing for Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Our office is using the new Henry Schein COVID-19 rapid results test. Henry Schein announced on March 26 the availability of an antibody rapid blood test, known as Standard Q COVID-19 IgM/IgG Rapid Test, intended to be administered at the point of care. The test delivers results within 15 minutes from a pinprick with no instrumentation required. We are testing all of our staff at routine intervals as well as checking staff temperatures 2x per day. Patients will be tested prior to their procedure as well. We make an investment in your health.
Plan Your Visit
ENSURE YOU ARE NOT SICK. DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL. PLEASE CALL TO RESCHEDULE. We are limiting in office traffic and encouraging online communications. If you are in good health, please keep your scheduled appointment(s). We will not cancel your scheduled surgical procedure. The hotels we use for pre- and post-operative stays – The Hilton Hampton Inn, The Marriott Residence Inn, and the Intercontinental Group Staybridge Suites – are above reproach with their sterilization. Currently, they are offering great rates.
